So I decided to join in the fun and participate in Library Loot.  Library Loot is the brainchild of Eva and Marg.  Basically their plan is to encourage bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out of the library.  What fun! So here is my loot for the week.  I picked up a stack of books today.

I started Miss Harper Can do it today. Twelve pages in I was already laughing hysterically.  The book is about a 24-year old woman named Annie Harper whose boyfriend David has been sent to Iraq.  In an attempt to deal with her emotions over his leaving Anna begins to write a confessional memoir.  That is all that I will say for now except that Annie is *very* funny. So much so that I had to finally put the book away while I was getting a pedicure.  The woman painting my nails kept looking at me like I was crazy.  Very Valentine and the Lace Reader were recommendations from other artist friends. I can’t say that I would have been drawn to these books on my own but we will see. Visual Thinking and Metaphors we live by are actually rereads.  I am doing this whole self-paced study on design and how we process visual imagery.
